1000-pint Blood Drive: A Rock Solid Goal
Possible point value: 150 points!

Appalachian State just received word from the American Red Cross that we officially collected the most amount of blood in one day in the history of North Carolina! Congratulations Mountaineers!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped us reach our goal. We appreciate everyone who came out to volunteer and give blood, especially those who waited so long to give the gift of life and become a part of App history!

September 25th, 8am-7pm, Holmes Convocation Center

If you want to give, please come to the Holmes Center.  Walk-ins will be accommodated if possible.

NOTE:  WE STILL NEED DONORS FROM NEARLY ANYTIME TODAY.

HOMECOMING REQUIREMENTS FOR POINTS:

• Coordinate 25% of your organization to volunteer time at the blood drive OR donate blood (club members can choose preference).
• Individuals can start signing up NOW at www.specialevents.appstate.edu
• Each club member signs up for a timeslot (donating blood or volunteering) via website and must confirm registration via email within one hour.
• Hall Councils: 10% of hall population must give blood or volunteer in order to get Homecoming points.
• Clubs with over 100 members may contact Kelsey Smith to discuss options for participating at blooddrive@appstate.edu.
