After careful counting and recounting, we received a final number...We did it again, App State! Yesterday we met our 1,000 pint goal by collecting 1,003 productive pints!

Thank you to all of the dedicated and enthusiastic students, staff, and faculty who donated yesterday. You have warmed the hearts of the Red Cross and blood recipients nationwide...3,009 lives have been positively impacted by the generosity of Mountaineers! It was truly an incredible day, thank you.

Last year Mountaineers joined together to donate a record breaking 1,060 pints of blood making ASU's blood drive last fall the 10th LARGEST IN THE NATION! Congratulations App Staters! Please read on to see how you can be a part of history...

HOMECOMING REQUIREMENTS FOR POINTS:

• Coordinate 25% of your organization to donate blood or volunteer your time (club members can choose preference but please note, we need donors to make this drive successful!).
• Each club member signs up for a timeslot (donating blood or volunteering) via website and must confirm registration via email within one hour.
• Hall Councils: 10% of hall population must give blood or volunteer in order to get Homecoming points.
• Clubs with over 100 members may contact Leah Unger to discuss options for participating at blooddrive@appstate.edu.

Before scheduling your time to donate or volunteer:

• PLEASE be sure it is a time that works with your schedule AND you can be there on time...if not early!
• Determine whether you are eligible to donate by clicking on the documents on the left hand side of the blood drive page
• Please email blooddrive@appstate.edu with any questions or concerns.
